The Y Services Memorial at the National Memorial Arboretum in Alrewas Staffordshire stands in memory of all those who have gone before in the service of our country.
The memorial plot is essentially a garden with gravelled areas, some grass, a memorial plaque. pathways and trees. The NMA staff cut the grass and hedges periodically but otherwise, it is up to the Branch to keep the plot looking neat and tidy. The Branch NMA liaison person is Graham Barber and he has drawn up a work schedule with volunteers turning up to spend, not very long, giving the plot a tidy up. Details below. Please contact Grham if you would lie to join in the fun OR if you are visiting the NMA anyway please feel free to pull up some weeds - no need to ask permission!
